The Chalkboard is one set of activities in the Base Ten Blocks program.
Teachers can have their students use: single units, tens and ones or hundreds, tens and ones.

With the units, the students will:

• build large numbers using base ten groupings
• understand how to add large quantities with ease
• practice subtraction in a meaningful context
